A new clamp to reduce bleeding at open myomectomy

Designed and developed by Adam MAGOS, BSc MB BS MD FRCOG, Consultant Gynaecologist, London. This is a vascular clamp used in conjunction with a pericervical tourniquet to render the uterus avascular during open myomectomy. The clamp was designed to occlude the ovarian vessels medial to the ovaries without damaging the fallopian tubes.
